Program Manager


An exciting opportunity exists for a Program Manager who is technically strong, is a team player and has the ability to influence people and easily enable stakeholders to manage their own expectations. The Program Manager will manage Brolink’s key strategic program and multiple streams. The Program Manager plays a crucial role in the execution and delivery of strategic program goals, by creating multiple product roadmaps in line with Brolink’s vision and mission which are high-level and strategic visual summaries that outline the direction offering over time. They are both a strategic guide for stakeholders to reference as well as a plan for execution. Another key function will be to manage conflicting priorities to ensure alignment to the program goals and Brolink’s vision and mission.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with clients
• Formulate, organize, and monitor inter-connected projects
• Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
• Assist in implementation and adoption of Agile methodology
• Coordinate cross-project activities
• Lead and evaluate stream leads and other staff
• Develop and control deadlines, budgets, and activities
• Apply change, risk, and resource management
• Participate in the management of people and vendors
• Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
• Resolve projects’ higher scope issues
• Prepare management reports


Minimum Requirements:
• Matric
• Qualification in Project Management

Minimum Requirements:
• At least five years prior experience in the role of a Project Manager or Program Management
• Must have managed projects in a Short-term Insurance


Minimum Requirements:

• Displays an appreciation and understanding of IT concepts and the SDLC
• Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods
• Excellent Knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.)                                                                              • Excellent agile based project management
